dune retreat

following a full renovation completed in 2022, our ongoing collaboration with this blackburn client continues with a new studio extension at the rear of the home. dune is conceived as a tranquil, inviting retreat, with a peaceful outlook and materials selected to support rest and wellbeing.

low-voc materials, limewash walls and pale timber form a soft palette, complemented by sheer curtains and textured textiles. a custom joinery bedhead integrates storage and gentle lighting, while smart glass to the highlight window offers adaptable privacy. articolo wall lights, a curved upholstered chair and bespoke furniture give the space its personal character.

close dialogue with the client, builder, suppliers and craftspeople informs the specification of materials and finishes, alongside bespoke joinery and furniture design. construction is nearing completion.
