rejuvenate wellbeing centre

rejuvenate is a wellbeing concept developed for a hotel renovation on the mornington peninsula. bringing together spaces for movement, bathing and rest, the design pairs natural materials with simple architectural forms to create a calm setting for guests.

at reception, veined marble and vertical timber panelling establish the material palette, accompanied by restrained signage and an illuminated circular wall recess. within the pool and lounging area, curved timber-lined walls follow the water’s edge, while a circular skylight and concealed led lighting soften the enclosure.

travertine walls and floors connect the wellness facilities, including a custom cedar-lined sauna and steam facilities. the fitness area continues this restrained approach, with recessed timber shelving for smaller equipment, a simple bench and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. considered storage and warm detailing bring cohesion to the hotel’s proposed wellbeing spaces.
