hendricks house

a complete renovation in templestowe, conceived as a private retreat with generous spaces for entertaining. a bespoke joinery package extends throughout the home, bringing continuity to an interior designed around the clients’ way of living.

the grand foyer sets the tone. marble and timber steps meet an intricately patterned balustrade, introducing a dialogue between decorative detail and substantial natural materials. three individually designed fireplaces anchor the living spaces, with layered stone hearths, artwork and soft furnishings bringing warmth and depth.

the kitchen and custom-designed walk-in wine cellar support a home made for gathering. outside, the poolside entertainment area extends this atmosphere, with a softly illuminated onyx benchtop forming the centrepiece of the sports bar.

the master ensuite offers a more intimate sanctuary. expressive marble, integrated stone basins and a concealed pull-out fridge within the vanity combine quiet indulgence with carefully resolved function. throughout, each element is tailored to the home, balancing the ease of a resort with the familiarity of everyday life.
