alpine house

← taking shape

a complete reimagining of a contemporary two-storey home in essendon, alpine house brings a playful, subtly retro sensibility to family living. light walnut joinery, microcement and three varieties of natural stone form a layered palette, with pink patagonia quartzite, blue accents and warm terracotta tones lending an expressive character.

fluted-glass steel doors, blackened brass handles and a newly designed fireplace connect the spaces. sculptural lighting and curved bathroom forms soften the material richness. a bespoke walk-in fridge, finished with a brass ceiling and stone detailing, brings an unexpected sense of luxury to a functional space.

close collaboration between client, design and construction teams, specialist suppliers and trades carries the detail from concept into craftsmanship. the design is complete and the home is currently under construction.
